We’re looking forward to welcoming two editors from The Conversation to Oxford on Weds 28th February to lead a session on how to write and pitch for them – with a practical component!
Teams from the Social Sciences Division and Humanities Division will be giving a brief overview of how The Conversation fits into the wider research communications landscape at Oxford. They will hand over to the editors who will talk you through the The Conversation and the process of publishing for them.
There will then be time in the afternoon to draft a pitch and deliver it to the editors in person – giving researchers the opportunity to potentially build long-term relationships with this platform, which can have wider press pick-up.
Tea, coffee, and a sandwich lunch will be provided.
